Trex Fence Post Caps (for Seclusions and Horizons) are available in three styles for the 5″ x 5″ Trex fence composite post. The flat top and pyramid post caps are backed with a 25-year Trex warranty. The crown post cap is an FDS product and does not carry a warranty. The flat top and pyramid caps are manufactured with wood-plastic composite material while the crown post is a plastic composite product. Fasten caps with finish (trim head) nails or screws. Pre-drill crown caps before fastening. Note: Trex Fence Post Caps are not the same as Trex Transcend or other Trex railing posts. They are different in dimension and material. Only use Trex Fence post caps with the 5×5 Trex composite fence post.
